Chin Mee Chin Confectionary Review 真美珍茶室

Monday, July 13, 2015

One Saturday afternoon, my friends and I decided to go to CMC Confectionery again for brunch. We've been here for a couple of times already in the past few months, cause we all fancy this place a lot. One of the place in Singapore that gives out those classic old school feels. It's situated at East Coast Road, next to the Holy Family Church, by the way.

Chin Mee Chin Confectionery has been serving up sweet-tasting treats to Singaporeans for more than 80 years. With its retro floor tiles and hanging ceiling fans, the confectionery gives urbanites a taste of what life used to be in the early 1960s and 70s.
Location: 204 East Coast Road,
                Singapore, 428903
Contact: (+65) 6345 0419
Operating Hours: Tuesday - Sunday 8am to 4pm
                             Closed on Monday

Coffee or Milk tea?

Chocolate cupcake, old school style.
It's quite dry and sweet, but when accompanied with coffee, they taste really good.

Freshly baked kaya buns for only $1 each. Spread with their classic home-made kaya.
One is definitely not enough!

Those eggs were half-boiled to perfection!

It's a must to visit here if you're into simple, good and affordable brunch! The place also reminds me of the coffee shops we have in Penang. The ambiance and food, especially.

Coming here all the way from town was definitely worth the trip!
